Margin vs Markup
Margin = Profit ÷ Revenue × 100 — what percentage of the selling price is profit.
Markup = Profit ÷ Cost × 100 — how much you add on top of cost.
Example: Cost £50, sell £100 → 50% margin but 100% markup. They measure the same profit differently.
